Eric Sherman M.D.

New York native Dr. Eric Sherman is a board certified Internal Medicine physician whose focus is primary care. He is also an expert in medical information sciences and has performed research studies on the benefits of computer technology in medical care. He emphasizes preventive care in both his practice and research work. He applies his background in theoretic and practical medical decision making to teach patients to understand disease and how medical decisions are made.

Dr. Sherman earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Haverford College, a master’s degree in medical informatics from Stanford University and a medical degree from the NYU School of Medicine, where he currently teaches. He completed his residency and internship at Brown University’s Roger Williams General Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island and was a National Library of Medicine fellow in general internal medicine at Stanford University’s School of Medicine.
